Button-to-Button

Buttons have for all times been manufactured from the most varied materials. While in earlier millennia, they had often been precious single pieces – partly, with a unique symbolic nature – nowadays, we are able to produce large editions at a reasonable price due to up-to-date manufacturing techniques.
As in our case neither the technique nor our designers' imagination experience any boundaries, we are able to offer a large spectrum of materials. Thereby, trends and ideas derive – then and today – first of all from the fashion cities Milan, Paris, New York, and London.
Natural Materials

Horn, ivory nut, and nacre (or mother of pearl) are the classics among the button materials. Besides, our noble product lines include products made of genuine coco, bamboo, genuine wood and genuine bone. Depending on the fashion dictate, this choice is complemented by further natural materials. More reasonable prices can be reached when using polyester.
 Ivory Nut (Tagua)

Tagua, also called vegetative ivory, is the name of the nut of a palm tree growing five to six meters high in the tropical rain forests of South America. After the harvest, the tagua nuts must be dried in the sun for several months until they are completely hardened.
Every nut is unique and shows a beautiful, natural grain. This impression can be increased by coloring the nut afterwards. This way, every button made of this material will be an inimitable single piece.
Think about it!
When buying buttons made of ivory nut,
- you will help to preserve the tropical rain forest
- you will contribute to the protection of endangered species, and
- you will give the people living there a financial and ecological benefit
 Leather

Accessories and buttons
Leather is one of the oldest materials for making buttons, belts, and other clothing accessories. An absolute classic – and everyone knows it – is the plaited leather button on tweed suits and jackets.
In order to satisfy our customers' requirements regarding, for example, easiness to clean, always identical visual appearance and, last but not least, competitive prices, we also offer leather copies made of different basis materials.
 Genuine Nacre

Nacre (or mother of pearl) is and has always been a classical as well as precious button material. Every mollusk has its own pattern. Considering the variety of species, this promises an almost inexhaustible repertoire. Due to its natural occurrence, the editions made of this exclusive material are limited. But again we assure you: More reasonably priced nacre imitations can be found in the field of polyester.
 Genuine Horn

No one's like the other
Horn was, is and will be the hit if we speak of noble fashion. Traditionally, it is used on woolen material. Horn is a versatile natural material which varies in its coloring from black over brown and red to light oscillations.
The horn of a buffalo is used for this purpose. But most people won't probably know: The tip of the horn is generally reserved for the buttons and locking bolts of duffle coats. The hollow rest of the horn is bend open and can thus be used for all kinds of buttons, locks and combs.
Horn buttons will be refined by means of burning and laser techniques. This way, it is possible to incorporate even writings with high contrast.
 Metal

Buttons and fasteners made of metal are still fast sellers. In addition to the usage as decorative uniform buttons and sportive hole buttons, this robust material is primarily used for zipper pendants as well as for snap fasteners, tack buttons (patent button for jeans), and rivets. Metal
We distinguish between brass plate (pressed form) and zinc diecast (casted form). Both surfaces are galvanized afterwards – accordant to the fashionable requirements. We guarantee that we use only nickel-free alloys. By the way, the "gold" we use contains actually a small part of real gold. In great demand are also high-quality color enamels.
 Polyester

Plastic cannot be replaced as material for buttons. Using high-quality polyester, it is possible to imitate natural materials so they seem deceivingly real, or to invent endless fantasy creations. The exact process will stay our little secret, of course. We would like to give you, however, the possibility to participate in our enormous choice of offerings.
In addition to polished buttons, we also offer engraved pieces. What you should know: Using very fine laser beams, we can incorporate even the most elaborate writings, logos and patterns.
Together with the huge choice among the variety of models, you will also like the deliberately simple pricing compared with the richness of colors and materials.
 Rubber

Buttons, string stoppers, snap fasteners, or zippers made of rubber own a rather sportive nature. Therefore, they are mainly used with sports wear.
